Combined Orthodontic & Surgical Treatment

What is Combined Orthodontic & Surgical Treatment?

Combined orthodontic and surgical treatment addresses jaw discrepancies that cannot be adequately corrected with tooth movement alone. Braces or aligners position the teeth, while jaw surgery changes the position of one or both jaws. Planning is coordinated with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon to improve the bite, function, and facial balance.
