Enamel Protection & Supplementary Products

Plaque around brackets and frequent sugar exposure can contribute to chalky white marks and decay. Thorough cleaning, fluoride toothpaste, and limiting frequent sugary snacks and drinks are the foundation of enamel protection.

Additional Products

Your dental professional may recommend additional fluoride or a supplementary remineralizing product according to your individual needs.

MI Paste Plus

MI Paste Plus is a topical cream containing calcium, phosphate, and fluoride. It is a supplementary product, not a replacement for brushing with fluoride toothpaste.

Important Suitability Information

  • It contains milk-derived protein. Do not use it with a milk-protein or hydroxybenzoate allergy.

  • Milk-protein allergy is different from lactose intolerance.

  • Age restrictions and directions depend on local product labelling.

  • Use it only when your dental professional confirms suitability.

If It Is Recommended

Clean your teeth first. Apply to the instructed tooth surfaces using the quantity, method, contact time, and aftercare specified by your clinician and the local product instructions. This page does not prescribe a universal dose or schedule.

Other Options

Prescription-strength fluoride toothpaste may be recommended for selected patients and has its own instructions and age restrictions.

When to Seek Advice

New white marks, sensitivity, or suspected decay need dental assessment. Do not assume a supplementary cream will repair a cavity or guarantee that marks disappear.
